The ESS Mirage is a unique ship unlike any other. While at first glance it appears like an average Cruiser it carries a special bit of equipment that sets it apart from any other ship of its class. Sporting a number of Mass Generators and a prototype holoprojector the Mirage can envelop itself in a full-scale projection of the ESS' flagship Traquia (which is 10 times its size).


This revolutionary measure of active camouflage allows the ship to double the ESS flagship and thus create distractions or ruses for enemy fleets.

Dev notes & Origins

The Mirage's bridge design actually goes back to an early comic adaption of a Dhilani ship.

History & Involvement

The Mirage was used during the PSA's campaign against a cult named the "Brotherhood of Darkness". It served as temporary headquarter for Myrna Qhalic's Phantom Squadron, while their actual Flagship, ESS Seraphim, was undergoing extensive repairs after the Battle of Calim VI. While the team was on an undercover mission, the Mirage was seized by brotherhood agents and had to be retaken.


With the Mirage back under their control the Team made a stand against a massive enemy fleet, using the ship's decoy system to trick the enemy into believing they were attacking SBS Traquia instead. Under the guise of the much larger ship, the Mirage launched a charged baradium bomb into a nearby star, destroying the entire system.
