The Delta TX-1 Yacht is a prototype hybrid between a yacht and a gunship, which is as much comfortable as it is combat-worthy. About 70 meters in length it offers spacious living quarters and lounge, while carrying various weapon systems, including several quad DIP turrets, forward laser and EMP cannons and a pair of multishot missile launchers.

Dev notes & Origins

This is another of those models I made, based on a very old sketch. The original sketch was actually a sort-of battlecruiser-type design but eventually went a totally different direction.


The ship was originally supposed to be the private Yacht of ESS Emperor Vince Trageton but was eventually replaced by the GTX-5000.

History & Involvement

In all BPC core and EU lore there has been only one mention of this ship, being the personal ship of ESS Emperor Vince Trageton, after (loosing? Giving away? Can't remember) the Barracuda. However in the Course of the Open War III battlethread, the ship was ultimately replaced by the Corsair, a modified GTX-5000, which could be seen as the Barracuda's big sister.
